Project Persian Gulf
Description:
The Persian Gulf project was a short-term and not-for-profit project
which was targeted to develop a few open source instances of the coordinated
brute force method. This method was originally introduced in Globe
Optimizer paper in our Appetizer
series. The project was initially announced on December 31, 2004,
but after launching our Research Kit Program nearly one year later,
we merged this project into that program. The research
results for the traveling salesman problem are now available at our
Research Kit Program. You can also view the
initial statement of the project.
